  • The Ultimate Pickleball League (UPL) is the nation’s premier semi-professional, team-based pickleball league — designed to elevate local talent, create city pride, and provide a clear competitive pathway from recreational play all the way to national recognition. Built around inclusivity, integrity, and professional-level competition, the UPL gives players of all ages, genders, and skill levels a chance to compete in a structured league that bridges the gap between casual play and full professional pickleball.

  • City-Based Teams & Local Identity
Every franchise represents its hometown — giving local players a platform to compete for their city and fans a team to support.

    Verified Competitive Play
Matches are governed by a VAIR (Visually Assessed International Rating) system to ensure fair and balanced competition across all divisions.

    Inclusive and Growth-Driven
The UPL welcomes athletes from intermediate to elite skill levels and embraces gender and age diversity. It also supports junior and development programs to help emerging players grow into top competitors.

    Spectator and Media Ready
Matches are structured for exciting, fast-paced play and are broadcast and streamed (e.g., through partnerships like Sporfie), bringing more visibility and exposure to players and teams alike.

  • Team Format
Each match includes five exciting games with a mix of doubles and singles formats — emphasizing strategy, teamwork, and depth.

    Season Structure
Teams play within regional divisions, competing over a multi-week schedule. Top teams then advance to playoffs and the UPL national championship.

    Roster & Competition
Clubs build rosters of verified players (minimum 6, up to 10), and every athlete’s performance matters — every point, every match.
